Operation Gratitude seeks to lift morale and put smiles on faces by sending care packages addressed to individual Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas. Operation Gratitude care packages contain food, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation, all wrapped with good wishes of love and support.

Through Collection Drives, Letter Writing Campaigns and Donations of funds for shipping expenses, Operation Gratitude provides civilians anywhere in America a way to express their respect and appreciation to the men and women of the U.S. Military in an active, hands-on manner.

Operation Gratitude is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-based corporation, funded entirely by private donations. For safety and security, the assembling of all packages occurs at the Army National Guard Armory in Van Nuys, California.

I'm committed to doing my small part, to give these kids an even break. "They also serve (a little), who only stand and cheer"* WWII saying

PRAYER WHEEL FOR OUR TROOPS
Lord Hold Our Troops In Your Great Hands, Protect Them, As They Protect Us

If you read this, you will forward it on.
You just won't be able to stop yourself.

The average age of the Military Man is 19 years.
He is a short haired, tight-muscled kid who, under normal circumstances is considered by society as half man, half boy.

He's a recent High School graduate, drives a ten year old jalopy. He listens to rock and roll or hip-hop or rap or jazz and can swing a 155mm howitzer.

He is 10 or 15 pounds lighter now than when He was at home because He is working or fighting from before dawn to well after dusk.

He can field strip a rifle in 30 seconds and reassemble it in less time in the dark. He can recite to you the nomenclature of a machine gun or grenade launcher and use either one effectively if He must.

He digs foxholes and can apply first aid like a professional.

He can march until He is told to stop,
or stop until He is told to march.

He obeys orders instantly and without hesitation,
but He is not without spirit or individual dignity.

He is self-sufficient.

He has two sets of fatigues: He washes one and wears the other.
He can cook His own meals, mend
His own clothes, and fix His own hurts.

If you're thirsty, He'll share his water with you; if you are hungry, His food.
He'll even split His ammunition with you in the midst of battle when you run low.

He has learned to use His hands like weapons
and weapons like they were His hands.

He will often do twice the work of a civilian, draw half the pay, and still find ironic humor in it all.
He has seen more suffering and death than He should have in His short lifetime.

He feels every note of the National Anthem vibrate through His body while at rigid attention,
while tempering the desire to 'square-away ' those around Him who haven't bothered to stand,
remove their hat, or even stop talking.

In an odd twist, day in and day out, far from
home, He defends their right to be disrespectful.
Just as did His Father, Grandfather, and Great-
grandfather, He is paying the price for our
freedom.

Beardless or not, He is not a boy.
He is the American Fighting Man that has kept this country free for over 200 years.
He Has asked nothing in return, except our friendship and understanding.
Remember Him, always, for He Has earned our Respect And Admiration.

And now we even have Women over there in danger, doing Their part.

As you go to bed tonight, remember this image.
A short lull, a little shade and a picture of
Loved Ones in Their helmets.

Prayer wheel for our Military please don't break it.
Please send this on after a short prayer.

Prayer Wheel
Lord, Hold Our Troops In Your Loving Hands.
Protect Them As They Protect Us. Bless Them And Their Families For The Selfless Acts They Perform For Us In Our Time Of Need. Amen.*

When you receive this, please stop for a moment
and say a Prayer for our Ground Troops in
Afghanistan, Sailors on ships, and Airmen
in the air, and for Those in Iraq.

This can be very powerful
Of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Coast Guardsman, Marine,
or Airman, Prayer is the very best one.

I can't break this one.
Pass it on to everyone and pray

Finally, I Say to those ignorant people who would try to demoralize our troops,
the same thing I said to g. bush back in 08'

Don't Listen To Anybody *Joe
Especially this guy he's no-one from nowhere.
And it's not your fault. It's all those bastards from Bayonne's.
We were the victims. You Are The Best And My Hero

Maybe Someone Should Grab this opinionated good for nothing, and send him to a jungle when he's seventeen years old. Might do him a world of good.

The Spirits of King David and Biddy Early told me what he was up to.
Maybe I'm crazy but that's your fault too.
Only kidding You Crazy Person.
But At Least You're A Real Man

Yeah I remember You From The Flamingo Too

You Should know by now I wouldn't even talk to him

*Marine Corps Cadences Marching Song*

Mama's Take Their Daughters In Whenever We Come Round
You know they do*
Only kidding, I, And Everyone In America, Love You Guys*

What Is The Matter With You?
Have I Ever Told You No?
Well Maybe a Couple of Times

But I'm Much Smarter Than That Now
Way, Way, Smarter

No Surrender

7 Generations for Native Americans in Maine and New Hampshire is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2006 to help Native Americans (and others) who are experiencing financial difficulties and need assistance. We believe that everyone needs a hand from time to time and the best thing anyone can do in life is to help their fellow man. To that end, we have made it our mission to collect donated items (clothing, furniture, non-perishable foods, etc.) for distribution to those who just need a little extra help.
Our staff consists entirely of volunteers, including our On-Site Coordinators. This allows us to keep operating costs low and pass those savings along to individuals and families in need today.

Today's My Birthday.
Although A Woman Never Tells Her Age,
I Will Say
I Was Seventeen In 1967.

This Is A Love A Thon To A Marine.

Especially For Joe Brennan. Just To Remind Him
I Do Love Him.
In Case He Forgot Again, Since Yesterday,
Or The Last Time I Told Him,
Or Five Minutes Ago.

I'm gonna rock with some of my favorite music videos.

Less Chatter, More Music.
