You don't have to be a genius or have had great marks in high school to get into college nowadays. They may just make you take a couple of easy tests to see what Freshman classes are good for you. No academic requirements for financial aid.

Then there's Work Study. An easy job at minimum wage.

Anyone can go to college. You don't have to be in or just out of high school. I was 28 when I started college.
I went to school with people who worked full time and still got straight A's. Better grades than I.

Call the Financial Aid Department of the college or university you want to attend and ask them any questions you have, or for an interview there for help getting the financial aid application completed.

I know a person can go to college with just financial aid. I did.

If you get really good marks as an undergraduate, there are a lot of good internships and scholarships. to pay for post graduate work.

Try never to take student loans.
It's better to go to a Good school that may not have such a big name, than to go into debt for ten years.

Some students may be able to get help paying off student loans; for certain professions like becoming teachers, doctors, etc. if you are willing to work in under served areas for a number of years.

Some of the smallest schools have the best teachers. Know what you want to learn and choose a school by how compatible they are with your goals.
